Host Jasmine Sadry spoke with Laura Sanchez, owner of La Calle Doce and El-Ranchito restaurants, as she shares her passion for food, her community and the many exciting opportunities her business is experiencing.

Viewers will learn how Laura and her husband opened their first restaurant in 1981 with only $1200. Through the years, they have watched their guests grow up and bring their own families back to experience the Mexican food they love.

Laura also provides viewers details on the recent expansion that includes the opening of Jefferson Tower Events Center. This venue offers Dallas an event center with in-house cooking ideal for weddings, quinceaneras, bridal or baby showers. She also shares a new restaurant, Oscars, will be opening in the Bishop Arts Center in memory of her husband and son.
Laura shares with Host Jasmine Sadry that her passion extends beyond food as she influences her community through her participation in Promise House in Oak Cliff, Girls Inc. in Oak Cliff and the Hispanic Association for Culture and Education.
